Political threads?

I think they are annoying and spam for the relevant policital parties.

I don't open more than about 20 % of threads, unless they are of political or comical interest. I don't know if the threads that I don't read are annoying or not but this political thread is a bit boring as there have been heaps of these. I shouldn't have opened it but since I have you can have my opinion lol

I don't get a "thrill" from reading them, but I do enjoy reading different opinions. They can be funny when people are so hooked on their politics of choice that they twist events... for example, they rant and rave when one politician lies, but justify or ignore when another does it. Something about politics seems to warp some people's sense of reality IMO.

Every person's opinion is right, for them.

I'd rather read a political thread than one about the latest court case, mothering issues or household cleaning lol

If you don't like political threads, there are thousands of others to choose from...find a topic that interests you and bump it with your comment.

The consequences/fall out from that will be discussed .

Besides, other than the occasionally post every few months you aren't exactly around much. So it seems a waste to use the board to post a complaint about a topic when you haven't (as far as I can see) ever started a thread about any OTHER topic. That makes no sense.

but i 'spose contributers of political topics have rolled their eyes on some of my topics as well

It doesn't matter that I haven't posted much on the forums - I can read and enjoy what I read but I am tired of reading all the subject headings about politics just to get to something I might like to read.

I am not having a "go" at anyone, or complaining as someone pointed out, I put my opinion forward just like the rest.

There has to be a whole world of more interesting stuff to write about than politics (again, just my opinion) and having said that not one post on here will have any affect on the politicians and what they do or don't do.

I am now cross with myself for even writing the original post, no malice was intended.

Let's call it quits and move on, please.

Complain to the mods. We've asked for a seperate Politics Board, but there's been no response.

There actually aren't that many politica threads these days in comparison to 6 months ago. But on the other hand there isn't much else interesting being posted so they tend to stay at the top.

But, seriously, post something else.
