That sounds good Prim. I think most people in Perth use a fake Chrissy tree rather than a real one. I did have a real one outside for a few years but it got too big for the pot and root bound.
Do they do a post Christmas tree collection over where you are?

We have a kerbside collection every 3 months. Most of the time we don't have anything to put out but in January we put out the tree and they take it.

Every 3 months is very good.
We are getting a quote tomorrow morning from a tree company to come round and mulch and remove all the palm fronds and all the rosemary bushes that we are trying to dig out. That rosemary is just about swallowing the house now. I think we will be up for a couple of hundred dollars at least.

I didn't realise Rosemary bushes did that. Seems like they should be grown in a pot.
I hope they keep to their quote and at least you won't have all that ammunition flying at you in the next high winds.

I wish I could help Karen but the transport would be a problem. Would you believe I am then going to look around for a very small rosemary to transplant in a pot because I do use it in cooking. The rest can go.

My coriander grew and promptly shot out seed stalks lol. Do you know if it will grow more leaves if I chop the tops of the plants off, or should I just keep growing it from seed?

I'm not sure Karen but I think once they seed then you have to start again. I have put some in a little pot inside. It is growing well so far.
The rosemary does smell beautiful but it was out of control. At Christmas last year they were selling a few sprigs of it for $4 in the shops. If that is what it is worth then our bushes were worth about $200,000.
