I stood up to get a good pic of the yahts because the sun was a problem and I think she thought I was taking a pic of her and she posed for the shot.

The OH and i were talking about this a week ago 

it wouldn't take much for a good fire to start here everything is so dry

and with the bad conditions weather wise  i reckon  the fire would be taken on a strong hold  and it would be very hard to get it under control

Last week there was a pretty big grass fire on the road I usually take when I come home from seeing Mum. Hundred acres plus of wheat went up. I went home a different way because I called in to see FIL. Bit lucky really because I would have been diverted kms out of my way.

I was thinking as I drove through the area earlier that day how dry it was.

I've been paying attention to all the weather reports here and I've noticed a pattern where your weather mirrors ours. It was 10 degrees below freezing a few days ago and now it's above freezing, kinda warm. We've had a lot of rain lately, but only had about an inch all summer.

If I had the time I'd make a chart and see if theres any connection to your weather and ours?
