there is no need for you to say everyone is welcome...that's the way it is on CS

no one owns a thread.The moderators are the ones to decide who is and isn't welcome on CS.

 

as far as poster making derogitive comments about other posters

 

this thread does that 

 

 

as far as snipes go ..every poster has their own view on that obviously

Well I have been put off returning here.  I was posting something last night and suddenly the post vanished and the words came up 'you don't have the right permissions to post'  and then the thread vanished... Big Brother is controling things here far too much, and so the board is dying.

 

All the entertaining members of some years ago have gone and they are all saying the same thing, too much control and not enough freedom to talk about things.

People who post threads have the prerogative to ask for them to be deleted.........why I have no idea.......... others get locked permanently or locked then removed, at the discretion of the mods.

Mods are fairly open to discussion Darki, perhaps you need to pm them and make enquities about the removals? (I have no ide which one you are referring to)

I come here when I am avoiding some stitching or book work...... but mostly it's entertaining. there is no compulsion to enter into arguments or particular threads.

We have "visitors" every day in our thread, many of whom don't post in a friendly manner... But that's ok, we also have a private group.

I'd suggest anyone who is feeling upset or anxious about who has/has not permission to post in open threads should start a group and do all their chatting there. Or have a think about whether chat is the right thing for you, if it causes such visible angst 🙂 Heart XXX

Srely if you don't have permission to post in open threads you can't access a private group?

I don't know... I don't belong to any.............
