if I'd known this was going to be the next photo challenge I would have taken some pics of clouds that looked like trails as well. Seen on the way over to the shops on my lunch break.

Accoerding to the catalogue, it's an English Oak.

We have a thriving truffle industry here in the SW of WA. and the trees inoculated wih the truffle spores (OMG fungi!)  are hazel and OAK.
