Unfortunately, it was baiting of feral animals that nearly caused the extinction of of our beautiful wedge tails. Feral animal ate the bait, became easy to catch, eagle ate it...both baited. Now they've changed the type of bait and the eagles are soaring once again 🙂

That is why you should carefully choose if you buy bait for mice. It can kill the kookaburras and owls that eat baited rodents.

That reminds me, I hope my new friend comes back soon 🙂 XXX
