LOL -Tgse-scarey trip lol.

Done that trip a few times.

A steam train in 1961.

A redline coach in about 1969--stuffed pillows in

the sliding windows that were jammed open to keep the red dust out.

A road trip in a vc valiant-in about 1976 --2 young kids on board.

Road was still dirt tracks in those days

Then train is the best option..............................Richo.

Yes, I've done the trip by train too.  It was beautiful.

Joono

I'd love to travel across by train, it'd be amazing!
.

Trains...............what are they...........................not many to be seen here.

Oh yeah, no trains in Tassie? Most of our nsw country trains look like buses these days...well, they are buses, but they have countrylink train written on them.
.

It was 1st class too because it was a job relocation.  The train went to Port Pirie I think it was and then it was a bus trip to Adelaide, followed by another train, the Overland I think, to Melbourne.

Joono

Sounds fun, Joono. I remember the whole primary school going to the new railway bridge to watch the first train go through on it's way west. It didn't bother stopping in my town.

Has Clair been slightly less than good, or is it the result of a barrage of lovely friendly friends? Heart XXX 😞
.

Oh no, I think she has been very good 😄

Joono

Whew, I am glad to hear that, Joono. It's the lovely friendly friend, then ;\
