Yes I would take the male out of the cage straight away. He will most likely attack them.

As with guinea pigs the male rabbit can/will mate with her as soon as she gives birth.

 

While he is seperated from her it would be a good time to get him de-sexed.

Has she got a seperate hutch, she may attack the male rabbit if he is in with her now she is in the family way.

Have got another hutch ..but but oh just built them a mansion lol.

No more rescuing for me ..this girl said they where both females ..and she was desperate for a new home ,the baby was so tiny .

And now !!!!

Least they are little not huge like my big boy !
