thank you Deb and azure.

The child is 3 years old!  Miss10 was 2 when she was first told of rainbow bridge.....she has a grown up approach to death now.

Please .....this is  very sad time and was most unxpected.

Very sorry Twinkle, that you have lost your beloved dog....

Sorry that you lost your dog Twinkle, I remember when you got him.

wow rose! that was just over 6 years ago 🙂

Well ele, it's like this:

As no one ever comes back or sends their animals back to tell us what happens 'over there' there is no reason not to imagine a rainbow bridge, and if that helps little people cope with the loss of a loved pet, then I don't see anything wrong with that.

Later in life they will have to face ugly truths about losing someone or a pet, but even now I can fall back on  the Rainbow bridge to ease the pain of loss I have suffered over and over again with my animals..

After all who is to say it isn't true?  and I also believe that there may come a time when I see them again... call me mad if you like Smiley Happy

WE JUST DON'T KNOW ... sigh!  wish we did

Sorry for your loss Twinks, I know how much it hurts and you don't have to be 3 to cry do you Smiley Happy

Wow six years, how time flies. I remember your dog in particular because I have 2 border collies, one of whom had a op last week and has been feeling decidedly sorry for himself ever since.

Smiley Sad Sorry to hear about your dog twinks, we had to have one of our dogs put to sleep while we were on holidays last month, it leaves quite a hole in the family.

I don't know if you got it yet but here's the link,

http://rainbowbridge.com/

When my 2 pets died last year very close to each other I found the support on that site very

comforting.   And to all the 'realists' here yes,  I like to think they went across the  rainbow bridge.

Sorry for your loss twinkles.

Sorry for you loss, Twinkles.. with the photos and you mentioning Toby on CS we could see how much he was adored by you and your family.
