The shops here are shocking the week before Christmas, even I hate it, and that's saying something lol
My daughter finished uni last month and doesn't go back till Feb either, it's a long break and I wanted her to get a job but she says she's too busy writing a book. What she's writing I have no idea, it's a secret apparently

That is exciting Deb. Has she always enjoyed writing?
My son is working too so when TAFE is on a break it doesn't mean he gets time off. It is his work that pays for his studies.

Deb...you could wear your duplicate shoes! Wear the old pair first, then sneak home and change to the old pair..,and do that all night until someone notices 😄

I am going to the post Christmas sales this year, with a friend. Actually, it's her who wants to go...I'm dreading it a bit...she asked me to come along to keep her company (and carry her parcels lol). Before I go I'll ask you for some tips, Deb.
The first tip I need is when exactly are the post Christmas sales...does she mean the sales that start on Boxing day?

I can't believe that people will mob the shops on Boxing Day. A lot of people don't buy their presents until after Christmas so that they will save money.
That is all well and good but it kind of defeats the purpose.

you'll need to take your mobile so you can call your friend and say hey, I'm near the escalator, where are you? Lol

Good afternoon Stringsters
Lunch was nice (not outstanding) company was above average 🙂 I like these people, they have many good qualities.
It is still hot hot hot, though it is supposed to be raining. It might be another air con night.
Deb, you probably won't know what to wear on Sunday because of the changing changing weather in your area. I like street parties. We have one on Christmas Eve and it is always so relaxing.
