I wish the power would come back on, I'm getting impatient...it has been off for an hour already. I think I'll phone the power company to hear their recorded message, it might give me an eta.

Glad they locked that thread, it was shameful.

I have a rare day off.............to do nothing..............I am going to ignore the month.........(yep I said MONTH.............) worth of ironing I have hidden in the laundry and do................................well I do not know..............I just know it wont be the ironing.

 

I just read that thread...............and that was after it was edited...................but it was not hard to figure out what happened.....................again.

Good morning everyone.  It is time to get the tree out.  Tomorrow it will be 12 days before Christmas.  It will be the big one because I haven't found a replacement that I like yet.

 

Apart from that... the usual.

at last we have a sunny day here and the good news is the parcel I was waiting for arrived, a bit late, but it's here and that's the main thing

Hi Stringsters. It's a lovely day down here too - but going to be a bit hot later I think. I have to venture out in a minute to look for a gift for a DIL.. it's a Secret Santa and Mr Elephant wasactually the one who drew her as a recipient , but he's pleaded incompetence and delegated the task to me. (happens most years LOL)
