I do not necessarly agree with all of polo's comments, I know some very infuential, wealthy and well educated people who vote labor all the time so there is no certain type.
I think it has a lot to do with the house you lived and the influences your parents had on you growing up, me, I was bought up a wealthy household and wanted for nothing, although politics was not discussed very much the inference that the LNP was the most capable of running the country because it supported business which employed people made sense to me. My father ran his own small business and employed up to 20 people at any one time, he worked harder than any of them and because of this he aquired wealth while people that worked for him clocked on at 7am, had morning break, lunch and clocked off at 5pm. My father was at work to open up, did not take breaks and was never home before 7pm so he deserved to be successful.
I would imagine most of the people who worked for him voted labor because "thats what you did when you worked for a boss' which is ridiculous as my father like most bosses worked along side their staff to make the business grow and be productive for everyones benefit.
