I  always think that as we mature and grow our opinions change... 

Two years ago I was dead against gay marriage... I even argued it here... 

But I listened and had a really good think about things and now I hold a different opinion.... 

People change, life experiences make us grow and mature, sometimes our opinions change because of the people we meet. Sometimes we change because we realise that to get to our goals we need to change what we do and how we do it. 

Howard had to change a lot.. he had to grow.. he admitted to changing... 

Abbott had to do the same thing... if he wants to get to his end goal of becoming PM then he needed to change...

You can have Christian values... but it doesn't mean you actually have ALL of the ones the particular Church says you have to have.......or should aspire to.

christian values watered down . . are at best half -ast . it smacks of 'ill do and say whatever it takes' the christian values are only window dressing, as genuine as a $20 rolex. or a token appearance once a year at a volunteer fire shed.

I think Malcolm Fraser was the closest of anyone describing him, 'he will do whatever it takes' to become leader.

Since he has been on the campaign trail.

His minders are obviously looking at all the segments of the community that he has managed to outrage and is trotting out various members of his family and friends to show them it was all a mistake.

A womans place is in the home? So they trot out MRS Abbott who puts on a fiercely independent pose.

He's anti women? Oh here he is with photos of his daughters - look how much he supports them!

Antigay? Apparently not any more cause here he is sitting next to his lesbian sister and managing to look even vaguely comfortable.
