Oh and Lind9650 - you don't live my world or know what it's like especially to be a parent of a 3 yr old and 13 yr old. Times have changed since the 1950's

My dear young lady, yes, things have changed since 1950s.

I was left by a cheating husband with five small children to raise on my own. No Centerlink benefit for deserted women or their children then. I had to work to provide for us all on my own, cleaning bedpans etc. in a Hospital. My profession in Europe was Electronics Technichian in big Steelworks, but becuse of my lack of english I could not get a job here.
Besides, my english was very poor and I did not know much about the laws regarding divorce.

LOL, I had to learn fast and work my butt off to survive. Seven years later I met my second husband who was left with four children to take care of. We married and made a home for all nine of our children. He worked and I was a full time stay at home mum then. Times were tough on one income, but we managed to clothe, feed and educate all our children. Some of them have executive positions now.

Don't tell me a young mother with two children has it tough today with all the Govrnment help and financial support that is available. Only a spoiled person would not be able to cope alone today and think the world owes them a life they think is fit for them.

Look around you and see the real suffering in this world, and be grateful for what you have. If you can not cope, perhaps you should humble yourself and ask for help and confide in wellmeaning friends, instead of condemning other peoples little fun in life.

Understanding others goes a long way and comes back to you the way you send it out.

I wish you a good life and happiness when you shed your bitterness.
