flashie I restored this vintage cemetery glass flower dome, I'll put a photo of it on the ancestry thread tonight, it came up great. You couldn't see the fake flowers for lichen moss before I started.

Clair, is that one of the ones with a metal base? They used to have porcelain flowers and often a pair of porcelain hands inside them

Others in Freo are not so lucky - we just had a few hours power outage - back now!

 

I hope noone was in the middle of cooking Christmas treats as some areas are still out Smiley Sad

Hi Stringers 🙂 I have completed my Christmas shopping, six days earlier than usual which is a lifetime record 😄 The best thing was there was a clear run through all checkups, so I didn't need to skin anyone's ankles with my trolley. Perhaps I'll get that opportunity when I do Christmas food shopping next week.

Flashie that Tassie site looks interesting. I am quite ignorant about Tassie, I really need to go there and learn a bit about the place.

Bleeping bleepy bleeper bleeps! I have to go to another bleepy Christmas bleep party on Monday.

Hi everyone

Clair I used to have one of those but we accidentally left it behind when me moved house. Actually there were 2 piles of things in the shed & OH was supposed to bring the good stuff and leave the junk pile.

But he brought the junk pile with him instead.

MEN!!!

Tende, I hope you do get to make that trip, it's well worth the experience

I had to rescue a cicada from Bandit this morning, but it wouldn't be quiet so I could hide it somewhere else in the garden. I think it got away OK
