Funny, but I have noticed perfect strangers lately have been so happy and friendly.  It must be the Christmas spirit.

It was like that during the Sydney Olympics. Everyone found their manners and had a smile on their face. It was just lovely.

Prim that sounds funny! At least it would've made the waiting time go faster 🙂

My cooking advice is sausages go tough and greasy in the oven. I should've put them on a rack 😄

I remember how friendly everyone was during the Olympics. Sydney looked phenomenal, too...so clean and sparkly. The festive spirit skipped CS...well, the festive part did, perhaps not the spirits.

I cannot believe this heat! We survived the night by leaving the air con on. That is the first time ever we have had to do that.

 

I got up around 5am and opened up the house as there is a coolish breeze blowing at the moment, in the hope I can cool down the house a bit before the expected hot day again today.

 

I have another day of shopping ahead of me 😞 but hopefully this will be the last.

Good morning Stringers 🙂 I just spent 10 mins discussing Christmas with some witnesses and they gave me their magazines,,,,and told me they're coming back next week to help me understand stuff after I look it up in the bible,...criez...CLAIR, SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE NOT HERE!!

I told them about the time I had to rescue a JW in one town cos people were chasing them to bash them rofl. I left him in my house while I went to work. Actually it was one of those pests who try to sign people up to new power contracts lol, but I changed the story to JW ...and shortly after I'd finished the story, they scampered to their car 😄

Don;t let them in Karen..............my brother used to like teasing them...............they used to want to come in and bless us...............and he would tell them it is far too late.

 

I have heaps to do today.................but motivation is lacking.

 

I want to finish weeding the front garden............and then there is this weeks mountain of guinea pig poop to move.

 

Maybe another cup of tea first might do the trick.

 

The weather has been crazy here...............Thursday was over 35 degrees............and yesterday it was lucky to make it to 15.........................crazy!!!
