That was a late night for you Iza

 

We have a busy day ahead, that hot day put us behind on our 'to do' list. While I was out yesterday OH did the mowing and edges, fixed a bit of garden edging and put out the garden lights so, outside is finished.

 

I love Christmas, it is always a rush but a 'good' rush.  I have had some amazing Christmas cards this year with small letters tucked inside most of them. I am feeling the love 🙂

Prim,I've had some late nights due to the heat ..last night I stayed up and watched a repeat of the Blacklist which I hadn't seen.

Lots of bits and pieces to get sorted out here today and then we are all going to carols by candlelight tonight .

Gosh you are all SO busy should I feel guilty?

 

Have not given Christmas Day food a thought as we are hosting a table at a Community Christmas lunch for people who are on their own/homeless/lonely folks in our City.  There will, however, be lots of phone calls across the continents to kin and friends who are physically distant from us but never far from our thoughts throughout the year.

 

It looks like another beautiful day here in paradise.  I have not looked at the weather over your way yet - hope it is more moderate so that you can get done everything you need to with relative ease.

 

Deb - I hope everything goes well for your celebrations today.

Hi Stringers 🙂 Is Christmas nearly over? What a lot of fuss and bother it is. The good thing is, I'm nearly ready.

Tomorrow I have to go into work for a couple of hours, then attend a bleeping Christmas party (they're serving chocolates so it might be ok), then do my food shopping and stock up on essentials for the holiday break. Cigarettes, for example...and milk. This year I am determined not to run out of milk.

I still need to make another trip to the supermarket too, the shops are pretty busy here now.

You must be exhausted, Deb! I'm glad it went well...and I wish you were the organiser of the Christmas parties I've had to attend this year lol.

I am exhausted Karen, but the birthday girl said it was the best birthday she 's ever had, so that makes it all worthwhile.

I was hoping to have some time with OH by ourselves for the short time he's off work & already friends are trying to organize get togethers

oh well, it is a very busy time of year, as long as we get a couple of days to ourselves somewhere along the line, I'll be happy

Only one more trips to the shops for me tomorrow for the fresh stuff and that will be it.  If I haven't got it I can do without it.  It's a crazy day, the amount of effort that goes into it.
