morning all

 

Joono NYE we will be on the boat, sipping champagne and watching the fireworks with about another 100 people. We haven't done that for a couple of years so really looking forard to it.

 

what to wear?? No idea yet, This is Melbourne ,summer one day & winter the next.

Deb, you lucky thing.  That will be a beautiful way to spend new years eve.  I am quite jealous.

Joono I hope he doesn't love that toy too much and chop down all the trees.

My neighbours got a ping pong table for Christmas and I'm crossing fingers they'll get sick of it soon.... Ping pong ping pong ping pong all day and most of the night.

I got my passionfruit trellis up and planted the passionfruit for the third time. I put a label on it this time, so the lawn mowing man avoids it. The trellis looks pretty dodgy and so do I 😄 because I have wire holes all over my hands and face from that bleepy springy tie wire.

Hopefully you will be well healed by the time you get to enjoy the fruit Karen.  I nearly made a chuckle store blunder and said well heeled.

Do they fruit first season or are they like avocados?  If only I had planted an avocado when I first thought of it because we are weeeeellllll past the 7 years it would have taken to fruit.

Our other Family Christmas do went well today .There are a few fires burning around Vic atm which we are keeping a watch on.

I had a pretty good day but lazy.  A trip to Bunnings nursery this afternoon to buy some little plants for pots.  I'm trying to pretty up the area outside the back of the house where the pool is.  It is so stark out there with all the light limestone paving and it needs colour and vegetation. 

 

It looks quite pretty now... for a very short while maybe when the sun kills it all.

I think it will fruit next year...if not, I'll have to plant another one. I can't wait, I love passionfruit and they're such a ridiculous price in the supermarket.

My ;\ tree still has five ;\ fruit but it doesn't seem to be growing. I should remove the ;\ fruit but I don't want to. My lime tree is growing but has no fruit. My salad garden is ready to start picking and the stipid mutant tomato has about 50 fruit...gawd...and i didn't stake it, so it's growing all over my lawn lol

Darn it!  I just remembered I was going to look for a mini lemon that I could have in a pot.  I want something with a bit more height than just my herbs and flowers out there.  Maybe it will be another trip tomorrow.
