meep see if you can hunt down a bumble bee they are slower and morf friendly 🙂

Safety first......

I am a mug photographer, but willing to learn.

My husband bought me a Sanyo 3X last year, for $59.- a the Post Office. (he said IGA is selling them too)

Tonight, when I asked him, he showed me where the Macro setting on the camera is. I would love to learn how to take some wonderful photos. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will go outside and try to take some photos.

Can you chech the model of your camera? I tried to googlr the sanyo X3 but it returned no results

On the front is - VPC-S1213,

Also a sticker with four squares, 3x Optical zoom, HD - 72OP, 12.O Mega Pixles, 2.7" LCD Panel.

Underneatth it has SANYO Digital Camera, VPC-1213EX,

I have no idea what it all means, but the photos I have taken so far of family gatherings are all very good.

LOL, the only other camera I have ever used, was a Box Brownie my father gave me when I left Europe to come to Australia 55 years ago.

The bee was zapped with a couple of flashes manually just to confuse it and slow it down 🙂

so, how far was the lense from the bee??

handheld?? you must have steadier nerves than me.

Probably about 150 to 200 mm from memory and the bee was stunned and confused with having been flashed, besides it was intent on gathering pollen and that activity was not under threat.

I prefer pollen after the bees have done their thing 🙂
