Handbag checks are common up here, theft rate is high though lol

I've seen a woman get done with perfume in her handbag.
I've even seen an older man being served by a young girl, start yelling....tipped his backpack out on her counter and then demanded that she put it all back in!! The poor girl cried....disgusting power tripping **bleep**hole....I complained to a manager about him.

Agree strongly with whoever said that these precious shoppers should complain to the store manager if they've got the balls and not some young girl doing her job! They don't need your attitude.

This thread isn't about stolen goods though. It is about... how customers feel if they are requested to open their shopping bags in a retail store.

One's sense of outrage depends on which side of the counter a person stands, no doubt

If some ladies need to enter a shop with a shoulder bag-
