Doesn't matter if global warming is real or not. The thing the so called alarmist are looking to accomplish is reducing pollution of the earth, air, and water, and devoloping alternative fuel sources.So when you're fighting against them you are condoning pollution.

First off, certain famous ocean currents have well-known effects on climate. Consider the Gulf Stream. The climate in Northwestern Europe (the UK especially) is much more mild than it is directly across the Atlantic in Canada and the Northeastern US.

Evidently not so well known to those with their heads in the sand. Fitting.

If the Gulf stream was to slow down considerably (as it has in the past), then winters in Europe would become very cold. The last time this happened, from 1450-1900, it was called The Little Ice Age.

It was 53 degrees last I looked. How's that for warming!

Even stranger...January is usually the coldest month and not unusual to see temps way below freezing, but right now it's raining and I hear thunder. I've never heard thunder in winter.

Good thing...I have to leave soon and don't like driving my own vehicle in the snow. The work truck....I'd just get a new one if it wrecked. And it's coming down in buckets! (yeah...actual buckets!)
