Im off to the airport to get OH Yay!!!
I rang the insurance company and the assessors this morning and left messages for both.
I said.

As its now six months since the fire and we are still waiting for the contents claim to be settled, I think its about time we took the claim to either the disputes resolution department or the finance ombudsman. May I suggest you return my call today.

AND still we wait!
