Deb, with a bit of luck you won't have to replace zippers this time. They are getting quite expensive to buy, as are buttons. I used to throw away spare buttons that came with some clothing, but now I feel a bit guilty and am keeping them just in case they are needed elsewhere.

YAY Prim! that's another dress I have done, It's the unpicking of  the old zips that's time consuming though. I get sick of doing one so i start on another

no I've done 3 all up so far and just about to finish off another one, then I'll still have 2 to go but Ive just abot had enough for today

I have to get out my sewing machine soon too.............I bought a couple of new pairs of trousers.......and I always have to take the legs in as I have skinny legs.

It is beautiful and cool here..............I have the window open.............(I just looked.........and it is 12 degrees...........not everyone would call that cool.)

I think sewing is one of those things you have to be in the mood for Flashie, a rainy day does it for me

I got rather engrossed in my sewing....where did the day go??

Tomorrow there will be more sewing and then the machine can get put away again hopefully for a long time.

we're heading out to dinner with friends tonight and tomorrow night we go on the boat to watch fireworks again
