the thread was sardonic - for once amethyst has it right - I was channelling a thread from a week or two ago (it's since been removed) where a man claiming to be depressed with low self esteem kept ticking off what made him and his life so great.

And proves the OP has no clue of just how depression, even mild clinic depression, affects those afflicted.

Let's hope for their sake they never find out how it works first hand, but if they do that they will not face similar ridicule as they, others like them, and the button pushers, enjoy handing out.

Absolutely, it's not even as if you know each other in the real world or do you? I doubt it. Would you be game enough to go at each other like this if that were the case. Again, I doubt it. Seriously, these boards are so limited. You can't REALLY know anyone here.
