Spotting the first man made item in outer space -the russian sputnik1.,,,,,,,,Richo.

Mortein spray that went into those pump action atomisers.I used to hate the smell of that stuff.

skippy and the sullivans, being able to buy mixed bags of lollies - and choosing which ones you wanted-10cents would get you quite a nice little white paper bag full and they tasted better.

Riding to town in the back of the landrover.

Granddad taking the milk cans down to the box for the Norco man to collect. My mum and her sisters milked by hand. I can just remember them sitting on a wooden stump and squirting the milk in to the stainless steel buckets. My uncle still has the farm but the old dairy blew down a few years ago.

I remember Coles Cafeteria being a real treat. Learning to read with Dick and Dora, Nip and Fluff.
Taking 20c to buy my lunch on a Monday and that would get a pie and a cream bun. Mum sending me to the shops to buy her smokes..34c for a packet of Escort or Viscount. And johnny Farnham for some reason.
