I don't either but if I did it would definitely be ears first.  Oh I do!  I've been given a Lindt one so I will this year.

I eat the tops and I give the bottoms with most of the centre, to my OH.

We have them toasted and buttered

I take the whole bun... peel the top and eat that... peel off the bottom and eat that.. then eat the nice soft center...    I don't use butter or anything like that.. and I don't toast... i microwave for 20 seconds to make them nice and soft.

What's the point of that? I was under the impression that Hot Cross Buns were just butter delivery systems?

Best thing you can do with any sort of HC bun as far as I'm concerned is kick 'em around the backyard a few times before feeding the lot to the chooks. Hate em, hate em, hate em X-(

As for the chocolate Easter bunny question ... you just punch it's head in before chucking that to the chooks too.
