There is no way I'd have at tattoo.

Regrets I have enough of.

Females getting tattoos is a fairly new phenomenon, so maybe the spreading of this craze is simply a case of 'sheep mentality'.

Not really.  Check out this page for some old photos of tattoo'd women.

Yeah, like the one on the tele programme who forked out £3,000 to have have it removed. She knew her own mind at the time when she went under the needle. Yes BT, you may fancy a new hairstyle or a new outfit now and again. A tattoo is different. You can't chop and change that at the drop pf a hat. Unless of course you have a few thousand dollars going spare.

Some gorgeous females there Lurker, taken in the year dot. Very attractive.

I wonder why your defensive posts remind me of someone else

who was here not so long ago?

Skateboards come to mind, lol...

How old are you? Woman Surprised

There are lots of older women getting tatts! If you want one and are sure about it, just do it?

I don't want one. Not sure if it is a prejudice, or a health concern, or a self preservation thing...

fear of needles, thoughts about injecting ink into my body, maybe.

Where did I mention attractiveness?  You asserted that female tattooing is a relatively new phenomena.  I showed you it's not really.  No need for the eye roll.

Yesterday I saw a woman, tattooed across her shoulders, chest, neck, legs, wrists, dressed in an odd assortment of clothing. Pregnant, raggy short shorts, sleeveless top, some kind of scarf around her neck with little raggy bits. I didn't stare, so no idea what they were of.

There was nothing attractive about her at all.....but then, I am not attracted to women, so maybe that was it!

There's no doubt about it, with the popularity of tattoos these days there are going to be alot of regrets down the track. Tattoo removal will be big business in years to come.

I can really appreciate the beauty of a well executed and placed tattoo but these seem in the minority these days or maybe they are just not as visible to the general public than the tacky, cheap ankle tatt?

Actually bad tattoos are grinding my gears a bit lately and I can't believe the number of young people getting highly visible, cheaply done tatts. If you're making a lifelong committment to something on your skin surely that's worth some research and investment?

Someone must have found her attractive Azureline.
