Gee that's sad.

silly man indeed...guess he wont do that again.

Would it surprise anyone to know that, until this morning, I'd never heard of him?

R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman.   So sad.

Sad, he leaves behind 3 children also.

I saw this show, with him in it, in NYC.

He also had a successful stage career, directing and appearing in a multiple Broadway productions, including a turn in 2012 in Death of a Salesman, for which he earned a Tony award nomination.

He was a brilliant and versatile actor. He had been clean for over 20 years until last year when he began using again. After a week, he checked into rehab. Heroin is a horrible drug that has wasted so many lives.

Just an observation BCD.

Heroin has never wasted any lives, the blame has to be put squarely at the foot of the owners of those lives.

I have no sympathy for those people. Inconsiderate, stupid people who have no regard for the ones they leave behind.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I believe it produced a powerful addiction almost impossible to break.

It's so prevalent and easy to obtain, sadly.
