Boris is such a lovely dog.   I bet he is a real character.

We used to have a cat called Decker.................all the other kittens in the litter were black.

We also had a guinea pig called Doo-da.............no idea why.........that is just what happens when you let your grandchildren pick their names.

Dogs just steal our hearst away.

Actually, all crritters steal my heart away.

We had a gorgeous little terrier cross ( silky? maltese? not sure - he was semi long coat and a lovely blonde colour).

My son named him Arnie Scwarzenpuppy Smiley Happy

When we were kids, we adopted a dumped grey cat we called Mokey - we wanted to call her Smokey but she was very timid and hated the "S" sound.

Our original Boxer was Ashka, her daughter was named Kita.

Currently I have Mischa and Baxter (2 rescues) - I call him Boo for short!

Boris sounds like he has you well t trained.  (smiley face)
