I hope we do catch up soon. I bet you were really looking forward to that "free time" too

We had a humdinger of a storm here yesterday....................it was so bad they had to cancel the racing of the Hobart Cup.................it came from nowhere.

 

It is a public holiday in Southern Tasmania today.........Regatta Day.

 

We spent the weekend pruning trees and taking all the limbs and branches to the tip.

 

I am pleased with what we got done...........at little saw (get it....*grins*)........but pleased.

 

The little kitten I showed you all the other night that arrived at our daughter's house ended up at the RSPCA.

 

The lady that claimed it was hers was fibbing................would you believe the Cat Center would not take it..........they said they were not taking kittens in over the long weekend..................that is so dumb.............no wonder kittens get dumped over their fence.

 

I have always made donations to the Cat Center...............but I am so cranky at them for not taking in kittens I am reconsidering my support.

A little saw   

 

You must have had some good rain then Flashie.  My rain was just a gentle shower that lasted maybe two minutes and evaporated as it hit the ground.  Nature was just teasing.

 

My excitement today was a haircut and I managed to put together a flat pack garment rack.  It only took me an hour lol.  I love jigsaw puzzles.

My work day was extremely busy, came home late, packed some orders, had dinner and am about to settle down to watch the Olympics. 

Flashie, how strange thst someone would claim it & thrn say it wasn't theirs.


& what's wrong with the. Cat centre, thst's just silly.

It's a dear little kitten, I hope the RSPCA find a new home quickly.

Made a conscious decision NOT to answer the phone this morning 

 

Home late last night and the Winter Olympics tempted me - the athleticism and fearlessness of those aerial skiers left me 

 

I looked in here late last night and some of the 'things' I read around the traps left me  and 

 

Has anyone seen that Jeep ad with the little boy sitting on the bucket when his Dad comes home with the new Jeep?  His little face when he makes the comment about needed a bigger boat is just too cute.  One ad that I do not mind seeing again and again lol

 

My 'do nothing' day is going to be just that - except for the rat man coming to rid us of unwelcome visitors.  Have a good one folks
