It is really difficult to comprehend. It seems that in majority of such cases they plan on taking their own lives as well....

Don't forget the policeman in this - forced to shoot a man to save oithers - suicide by police - he has to live with this too.

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

They guy came at them with a knife, Joe. I believe they shoot to kill in life-threatening circumstances.

It doesn't work like that, Joe. Police shoot to stop the threat and they are trained to shoot at centre body mass.

in the report this morning they tried using pepper spray or something like that to immobilize him which was ineffective

but still, i was surprised to hear he was shot in the chest

i thought they are meant to immobilize, not kill
