I have 4 that visit, but they are very very shy. I was hiding behind the door with the camera pointing around the corner to get that shot, hence not one of my better birds pics, but they are the king of colour aren't they 
one of 2 gumball machines in front of the newsagents in the shopping centre across the road.

I have a pair of Pale-headed Eastern Rosellas visit occasionally but as you say, they are very skittish and they tend to avoid suburbia these days. I used to think that their name referred to the fact that they (along with Crimson Rosellas) were predominantly red, but it seems that in fact when the early settlers around Rose Hill in western Sydney first noticed these birds, in the absence of a proper name, they were named after the area in which they were first seen, and were initially called "Rose Hillers" but over time this was abbreviated to become Rosellas. 🙂
