I didn't see any big deal over your comment. Sometimes it is sensible to note that a poster may be a male or female. one is not likely to ask them unsuitable questions ( e.g. I wouldn't ask boris about  dolls, unless I knew they were female).

This is how threads get disrupted.. when someone wants to go on & on about something totally irrelevant which no-one else even notices/cares about.
