Silverfaun, I see a very strong political message in that .One that would support things such as lessening of discrimination laws ,hate speech etc etc.Is that what our current PM wants ?

our PM who displays the childish 'it's someone elses fault' kind of attitude

I think you will find izabs that is exactly what the govt are doing, all in the name of "free speech" of course.

The Australian - last year

The new Attorney-General and his Prime Minister have made clear their intention to repeal section 18C in its current form, which makes it illegal to vilify people because of their race, colour or national or ethnic origin.

The Attorney-General claims that the prohibitions in section 18C are a threat to "intellectual freedom" and "freedom of speech" in Australia.

Addressing the original article & thoughts on that is not political so therefore I respectfully ask that you don't make it political.

Also hunting down the identies of  authors and make assertions (sock puppet) is also not helpful in this debate about the damage snitches, trolls & stalkers perpetrate on others.

Knowing many on here would hate to be stalked or trolled I presume a good debate on this topic to expose this type of behaviour would be welcome. Smiley Happy

of course its political

of course it is Political .It talks about erosion of free speech .

In Australia our free speech is only free within the bounds of our Law .

To say we had free speech ...our Laws would need to be changed

Also the 3rd party boycotts of businesses by the Greens, Crikey, Get up and unions is far more serious than first thought when they started to ruin businesses.

We are also shut down for not showing enough sympathy for people who lose their lives doing things that lead to that very fact & playing the race and redneck card is a particular favourite.

The stifling of opinions by calling to arms their adherents to remove people is a 21st century thing, more people who don't have the education to make an educated comment have access to social media.

The article below should be an eye opener to some but I'm not holding out any hope that they will pull back from this type of activity:

op, thread political by own words above,  then requesting that the thread not be "made" political - i suspect more codswallop.Woman LOL

Boris, I think type of article in the OP is propaganda. You aren't meant to know the facts, think too much and/or see it for what it is.It is just meant to make the goal happen..

A bit of lighthearted comment is not allowed on here apparently.  Anything that remotely pertains to the debate on trolling, snitches, stalkers would be appreciated. Man Happy

couldn't agree more, i have found that those who protest against the "button pushers" so much, are in actual fact the button pushers - the quote from Shakespeare is fitting, methinks. Not meant for any poster in particular just generalising.
