silver I don't reckon warnings from mods about a padlock stops the **bleep**....normally the people doing the **bleep** are doing it for a reason.
But in this case it seems to have worked for now.

quite often it doesn't change the behaviour other than to step it up a notch as the behaviour is designed to get the thread locked in the first place, and instead of stopping it the mods lock the thread and reward it.

OK.  Does that mean the fight was not here on these boards?

I wouldn't have a clue about twitter fights involving people from here, or even what their IDs are.  I encounter enough nut jobs out there without looking for more.  😄

They used to freaki in the good old days of CW. I think people as friends in same group on FB can appear here together sometimes.. Not necessarily to gang up though. When there is a serious thread about someone being ill or similar lots of old posters will pop in with words of support...so they either lurk or word gets around via FB.

Were you a witness to this, do you know the people involved, or did you hear it from a friend who got it from a friend who got it from a friend etc? 

 

Whether or not all or any of it is true, no-one apart from those who  know the people involved in RL  or - heaven forbid - were implicated inthe affairt, has any way of knowing what was actually said or even whether any of the twitter accounts were real or faked..

I would be wary of anyone who pm's anyone, to give personal details on anyone else. We have no way of knowing if any of it is correct.
