sometimes the webmail also archives them. Mine keep for 2 years in archive I think.
I'll change to comp with office 2007 and see if I can find my archive if you like.
I had to recently but can't remember how I found what I wanted. It was only recently.
Is it in the file menu?

I don't use it but just opened the program and my default file path for archiving is C:\Users\Toon\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst
I only use web based mail and the last few months I've just been spending a bit of time in the first few days of the month unsubscribing from mail I tend to delete without reading.

Yep toon.. that is sort of how I have tried to trace it back but it is not there, I don't have an archive file..... I have now created one but I don't think that is going to fix what is happening to me as I have had archive off... nothing should be getting archived...
they just go from sight... I can see I have 2000 left but I can't find them..
If I do an advanced search I can manipulate the search to find them using a random word....

figured it out..
there is an "arranged by" option.
I go to custom
then filter
it was saying show only last 7 days.
I chose the "none" option and now I can see them all....
