So 4-5 weeks ago a poster mentioned standing eye height to a pair of ugly feet on an escalator.
It made me look honestly at my feet after a day in the garden without proper shoes. Grotesque. Cracked, calloused.
A footbath with all it's accompaniments was in my possession in a short space of time. (Unfortunately, an attendant didn't come with it.)
As Madge once said "you're soaking in it" it wasn't Trix(?) but probably Bi-carb/washing soda. But I was soaking and enjoying the bubbles and softening effect.
Then I had to manoeuvre my wonky knees, bad back and distended stomach to reach the feet to enable the salves/creams to be applied. All good.
A GRATER was provided to remove the "dead tissue". It came with its own "collection point". Very handy.
Where was I to deposit this waste?
Have I told you I had a stagnant non-growing, but not dead, Zygote Cactus in a pot just outside the door of my podiatry salon?
Yep, just sprinkled the stuff onto the soil of said plant 2-3 times a week since.
And now, the plant is thriving!!!
Proving I can find a use for almost anything!!

Ha Ha Ha.
Just went out to count. 16 new nodes.
On it's way to giving me a good display of flowers in the future, I hope.

Thanks everyone, great to start off the day with a good giggle. I will never look at a cactus in the same way again, will always be wondering. Is part of Deb in there.
