The only difference is I seriously doubt the Australian or European born men used the defence that its OK to rape woman because they are not equal to men and have no rights
If we were privy to all the defences used by australian or european born men convicted for rape I'm sure that they are just as offensive and ridiculous, yet I doubt we would then paint all men from that country with the same brush.

Men born and raised in the culture of Afhanistan and the Middle East are plenty different to men born and raised in the culture of men of European and English descent in Australia, in that their culture lets them believe women insubordinate to them and must obey their demands.

that is not correct, maybe a little more reading would be helpful to round out your knowledge of others.

So are we being insulted by the defence of a culture who millions adhere to, cruel actions, appalling disfigurements, treating women in their own countries as less than human and therefore can be beaten, raped, stoned to death and beheaded.
The other actions are too many to document but we all know what this culture is capable of.
Before all the tut tut brigade launch into their outrage, this is not something that ALL muslims do, but they are complicit in their silence, complicit in their acceptance of stone age practices upon female infants, girls and women in the 21st century.

Now can we get back on the topic of Halal slaughter pls?

How much reading does it take?
I've read all 3 novels of Khaleed Hossein, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, and And Mountains Echoed. Fiction, I know they, but the subject matter is a fairl reflection on the culture the author has grown up with and knows well. All 3 books protray the demand for obedience from women by their husbands, male relatives and religious leaders.
Disobedient or free thinking women are considered fair game for abuse, rape, disfigurement and murder.
Also, Not Without My Daughter, by Betty Mahmoudy who was tricked in to travelling to Iran by her husband, then trapped there by his brutal dominance with the complicity of his relatives, including the women. Not a work of fiction.
Not to say all men of Islam are women-beating brutes, but those that are, are condoned by their society and are not spoken out against.

Maybe you should stick to reading your bible instead - specially the Old Testament.

There is an abundance of men born in Australia and Europe who believe the same.

No but I'm pretty sure it lays down rules regarding kosher food - and it has plenty to say about the treatment of women.

Maybe so, but they're not supported by the law or their religious leaders, their communities or society in general.
