Its raining and a bit miserable today.

No work for me today so I guess I had best keep myself busy tidying my workroom.

it's beautiful weather here but OH is still asleep/ He really needs it though as  he just worked 7 days straight and well into the nights as he does when he's working on a project. His work has given him a number of days in lieu, first one being today (as well as a big hamper that we've been munching our way through)

I must tell my boss that in some areas day in lieu result in a hamper....I know the reply I would get. I bet they are tasty hamper contents too, they tend to cook well 🙂

he is a bit spoilt 

He would need to be if he works 7 days in a row, that can be very stressful. That he gets rewarded for that effort is commendable and happening less in this day and time.

he is loving his job and that's one of the main reasons, that they show appreciation for what he does, he's not used to that

& they fight over him

I was just reading that Virgin airlines has announced quite a big loss, that kind of puts a hole in  Qantas managements argument, asking fo govt. help and complaining that it's not a level playing field due to lack of foreign investment
