No. The minimum adult wage is not $300 per week.

Actually according to the centrelink site its Single$733.70 Couple $553.10 each or $1,106.20 combined

I kind of puts things into perspective.I often hear some older people say that younger parents both choose to work as they want too much.If 1 parent is earning about the same as a pensioner it should not be hard to understand that  it isn't always the case .

My father in law in December, received $772.60 pf... old age pension.  Not sure why it is different to the above amounts.... he owns his home, so no rent assistance etc....

From the centrelink site the carer payment is 553.10 same as aged pension.  The figures I posted before are the figures they list from the old age pension.  My dd gets youth pension with is 289 something a f/n she is over 18 but a dependant at home & studying.  I was kinda hoping the elderly would be well looked after, I mean it would be nice for them to get 600 a f/n each but sadly they don't.

Did he have a utility payment in that though or was that every f/n Azure?

I get the age pension and my husband is my carer, he gets the same amount as me, plus he also gets the carer's allowance.

So we both get $609.40 from the first full payment in April.
