I managed a sleep-in this morning.....luxury 🙂

 

Still raining and cold. Apparently all of March is going to be very wet so we will need to batten down the hatches.

Good morning Stringers 

 

Started off the day with a swim before it got too hot - it washed away the cobwebs of the past week.

 

We had planned to do some work in the garden but it is already too hot for that so we are staying indoors in the airconditioning and just 'chilling out'.

 

I was supposed to be working again on Monday, totally oblivious to the fact that it is a public holiday, but a phone call just received has postponed that plan so am looking forward to three full days of slothfulness lol.

Gosh the rain must be a welcome relief Prim - we could do with some here but hey, if the lack of it is all I have to complain about, I am not doing too badly 

 

Cupboards can wait here!

 

 

We had considered going to a restaurant here called Amuse` sometime over the weekend - they do a fantastic degustation menu - but the chef is in Lombok cooking there so we had to postpone any plans.

 

Might check out Thai instead tonight

Beautiful weather here, perfect for the weekend and playing outside.

Deb I watched that video again...haha gee whiz, it reminds me of someone. ...it's on the tip of my tongue.

Ivan and his two buddies XXXXX and XXXX are sitting on my front step warbling at me in their beautiful butcher bird voices. Well, it's beautiful for the first minute, then it gets very annoying. It's also a little unnerving to see their beady butcher bird eyes peering at me through the gauze lol

Karen, Do you realise that while you are feeding your birds mince, the grubs are eating your vege garden LOL

 

That link reminded me of the Movie "Parallel Lives" 🙂

 

I don't mind the rain Laney but it is cold too....
