Annie a remember hot days on the beach when I was young, swimming walking around to rocks looking for little sea creatures in the pools.

This was in Nz LOL no Blue ring octopus, just crabs little fish and sea urchins.

Cold wind outside, Lilli is asleep in the Bean bag again

Come on then, who had pancakes yesterday??

Have to confess that we did for no other reason than it was an excuse to have them .... 

Tossed everything into the blender, let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for a while, fired up the grill plate and away we went.   Oh the maple syrup, then the lemon juice and sugar .. sigh!!

At last, it rained overnight, the whole bit .. lightning too, it was wonderful .. but not enough yet.
