joz are you missing? waves to joz
I believe most peeps believed I was missing, I did get wounded in that massacre, but was only a flesh wound, and I knew exactly where I was, just didn't want to tell anyone my movements.. to be on the safe side.
Yep, some of mums chooks (many moons ago) had this habit of eating their own eggs, she ended up roasting them too.

There was a bag of them growing in my pantry so I put car tyres outside filled with potting mix .. as they start to grow I will build up the dirt around them until they are in 2x car tyres and then let them grow .. 🙂

Well that sounds easy! easy for me :8}
Just remember that you need to build the dirt up just as the shoots are coming through the soil (still yellowish) ...

I planted taties and pumpkins today 🙂
I've gotten about 6 or 7 taties out of each 'bag' i've been growing. I thought there'd be more but apparently that's normal.
The tomatoes taste yummy but don't get very red, just orange.
The pumpkins, watermelons and rockmelons are spreading so much that it's hard to mow the lawn where they are.
The basil is growing great so I'll be having lots of home-made pesto now. 🙂
And, it's hard to keep up with the chickies' appetites for spinach.
:-p

Egg shells are an excellent part of their diet, good for the reproduction of more eggs, for them to eat, it's a vicious cycle.
