Enough food & water to survive.. But what is that food? Rice? It wouldn't be a balanced diet, which you would need if you are in there for 9+ years. If a prisoner has family nearby and they bring them food they would be much better of than if they had no one to visit.
Mercedes said she hand fed Schapelle at one stage because she wouldn't eat otherwise. She took her better clothes ( and makeup)..than she would have got otherwise.

If Schapelle is in a fragile mental state now, she won't be doing any paid work for her BIL for awhile. She had no income in jail and Mercedes got her the extras to improve her life a little bit in jail.

Grumpy Cat, maybe she was borderline of being sent back in and her sister made the apology so she wouldn't. 

 

 

I get the impression both Schapelle and Mercedes want to press the point that Schapelle was innocent and that is why the want 'air time'. They have to realise that isn't possible until her parole ends in 2017.

IF she is innocent it must be hard to be muzzled and not speak out about her innocence.. But it is better than being in jail.
