I have accepted long ago that no movie (that I have seen) about the Bible follows the Bible with any degree of accuracy - and by the look of the reviews, this one is the worst.
Not even Passion of the Christ?

@rabbitearbandicoot wrote:I just read a review of the film - and, as I thought, it's am agnositic's interpretation of a what he calls a fable - nothing to do with the Bible. In fact it's a total misrepresentation of the Bible, Flood, God, Noah and the Nephlim.
The point I was making about Jews being involved in the making of the film is just that - the Old Testament at least has a Jewish / Israelite basis - so if anyone should be against it, it should be the Jews - if they are true Jews....

what about the musical - Jesus Christ Superstar, wasn't that real? The songs were pretty cool and Jon English played a pretty good Judas in the Australian theatre production.
