Years ago we lived in a suburb at the bottom of Greenmount Hill, just east of Perth. About half way up the hill, right beside the highway was a big rock with a flat face, and someone painted on it ALL HAVE SINNED. A few days later another bright spark wrote underneath and very nice too.
In due course, the council whitewashed over it, but before long another sign appeared: GOD CALLS YOU which soon provoked the follow-up: A T U R D.
This little exchange went the same way as the first one and we all waited with baited breath to see what would appear next. Sure enough a couple of weeks later up popped another short, sharp message: P T O.
That one stayed there for years, but eventually Mr Elephant and I moved away, so whether there is anything still there today I don't know.
