Did not make it in to post yesterday ...... the Chilli Festival was on here in Freo and the day was much cooler.  The 'heat' of the day was chilli-induced lol

 

Had a read around late last night - 'interesting' to watch the editing occurring for reasons other than typos - perhaps 'laughable' would be a better word. 'High horse' was actually the phrase which came to mind!  

 

Another cooler day today thankfully - looking forward to it.

I picked all my tomatoes because I felt guilty at wasting them...I'll make pasta sauce.

Laney, funny you should say that...I've noticed some people edit practically every post. Could it be an impulse problem, or what?

Called into the farmers' market on the way back from the gym - sure beats shopping at the supermarket although it sounds very much like you have a super strike rate with your veggies now Karen.

 

Perhaps next year you could organise a traditional Italian style 'pasta sauce' making day - great fun to mark the end of summer - and the produce would last you all winter at least. We are going to one at a friend's place next weekend .... will take me back to my years in Italy!

Laney I edit sometimes due to my spelling & high typo rate, but nowhere near every post.

Ihave to wonder why nearly every post needs editing too.

 

Our songot home all safe and sound.............and put out enough washing for a week..............he was only gone 2 days.

 

He actually asked for meat and veggies for tea...............

 

We have been paving the gazebo....................bigger job than we thought.........the guinea pigs keep getting excited thinking they are going to be fed...............again.

 

I love long weekends............................................

Lol Laney, I just can't imagine me hosting an Italian cooking party roflmao!

I am lucky I have an Italian friend and her mother taught me how to make pasta sauce...and you can't really go wrong with home grown tomatoes. Perhaps I shouldn't speak too soon.

Karen you could organise everyone else to do the work and you could enjoy the 'spoils of war' lol

 

It is actually fun, messy but fun and the feasts afterwards defy description 

 

......we will await a report on your pasta sauce in the meantime!
