Are you using an ipad rosy? If not, hit the reply button, at the top of the reply box hit the icon that looks like a tree, choose a file (photo) from your computer, change the image size in the drop down box, and hit insert image.
If I look at these photos on the ipad (ordinary one, not retina display) rather than on my laptop there is quite a difference. The sparkle in the photos shows up a lot better on the ipad, especially for photos like amber's shoes..
