I am at the march. I came early because I'm a bit old and wanted a chair for the speeches. I've got coffee, ciggies and a salmon wrap...and my sign. There are several hundred people here so far and 3 horses lol.

The horses are protesting CSG. They don't like drinking water polluted with uranium.

There are lots of dreadlocks and Indian clothes,,,,cringe....
.

How many are there JMK?

I hope we get to see some pics

I'm there in spirit.  I hope that thousands are able to attend at least one of the marches being held across Australia over the next three days.

I have finished marching now. Is it bad of me to sneak away because the " end of march" speeches are so boring? 😄

They were the same speeches as the pre-march ones lol (even the horses had a snooze).

Freddie there were around 500 people, which is a pretty good turn out for a conservative voting country town. We tried opening the local LNP member's office door but he quickly locked it and scurried away lol.

Tomorrow will be much bigger, they're expecting 5000...we'll see.

I have pics but I'll have to work out how to post them on ipad.
.

I'm also planning on not staying for the speeches tomorrow Karen, not sure what my kids are planning to do.

I't also GP day in Melbourne tomorrow so it will be a crowded day in the city

Lucky I didn't go today or else I would have been very lonely. I thought today was Sunday. Cat Very Happy
