March In March Byron Bay - 4000 people - Sunday March 16
They really really love bongos in byron.
Good on you, pct! I saw some pics on twitter re the Hobart march...great to see after that sad election result. There was a lot of talk today about Tassie, people couldn't work out why they'd vote them in and the destruction that'll be coming your way. I suppose there must be a reason.

I think I saw an anti-quarry sign at the march today ๐ or it might have been anti coal mining.

They started with drums here, it must have been a theme.
Don't worry about Tassie, I'm looking forward to seeing the employment figures rise ha ha!

did tony say he would create 5 million jobs? i read something like that somewhere but can't remember where.
if so, we must have misunderstood him because what he really meant was to destroy them.
aaahhh destroy - create easy to be mixed up words.

And so far, he's created 60,000 jobs in other countries. Qantas, manufacturing, science, clean energy.... All moved offshore thanks to his fantabulous policies. Way to go, tony! Soon he'll be creating 50,000 jobs for other country people to come here on his magic $2.00 ph work visa. Gina will be thrilled.
That deserves another march ๐

I think it's because of the reurn to some 1950s utopia that was promised by the Libs.
They've been running the minority govt is bad, greens are evil, Labor is bad line for the past 4 years.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott told reporters he thought the only large rally being held in Sydney was to do with St Patrick's Day.

Nice tweets by Warren Mundeen...NOT
I wonder what his view of the No Confidence Rallies and our now PM's involvement with them are ?
Not that I think he'd have what it takes to answer that question should it be put to him at the moment.

a lot of indigenous people were pretty upset by those comments from Mundine
their attitudes show that they are just not prepared to listen
